As the Bobcats snapped the Celtics 8 game win streak in a 94-91 victory the Celtics suffered another blow. Leandro Barbosa hit the floor with minutes left in the 3rd quarter on Monday. The Celtics are being cautious and have revealed he suffered a knee injury. ESPN is saying “..the initial outlook is not good”. While Celtic stalwart Kevin Garnett suggested it might be worse then suggested saying “You work with these guys and all of a sudden you see a season-ending injury. We’re grinding right now, on top of a back-to-back emotional game. Tonight was a very tough game”.
This season is becoming a war of attrition for Boston, usually its the older players which fall down. Throughout this season the training staff have failed to keep the younger brigade on the court.
